Basically, my family was separated because of the recession. My dad lost his job and found a new one in Georgia. So I rarely get to see him coz I live in Houston.

Well, my family was having a trip to Georgia. Me and my little sister have our birthdays within a week of eachother so we were gonna spend out spring break and birthdays with my dad. I asked if I could have off work, my boss said "I don't mind if you go there, just decide what you want to do." So I decided to see my family. I was a florist and weddings are a part of the job. Well, it was going to be a big wedding week. I offered to fly back if they needed me, but they never took me up on my offer.

I just come back to work on Monday and find that I'm jobless. It was incredibly unreasonable. I never got a chance to defend myself. Ugh, the whole situation blows. I'm half tempted to go up there and give them a piece of my mind (in a civilized way, of course).
